I have a theory about college kids, but perhaps it applies to everyone. We love Halloween. Hands down it is our favorite holiday. We get to dress up in the most ridiculous outfits and run around and no one thinks twice. So, being in college and loving Halloween, every time someone has a birthday that has a theme we go all out. And I mean all out. Hence the hair. And clothing. And did I mention the hair? We keep Halloween going all year.

For those of you have been keeping an eye on the weather it has, as you know, been raining for what seems to be two solid weeks. We have a day or two of sun and then four of rain which means running from class to class and holing up in dorms or apartments under blankets. What better way to fight the gloom than a little 80's glam?

I may have gone overboard. {My dressup box in college is bigger than the one I had when I was eight}. I was running around in neon leggings and a windbreaker debating choices all while trying to get my Organic studying done. And yes the studying did get finished, but in between breaks I found IT. I found the outfit. Gone were the neon leggings and hello.... Madonna!

It was perfect. It was meant to be. And then I remembered my hair. It took me two hours to go from straight to huge. I won't detail the process but it's a miracle I managed to get a brush through it today. I'm slightly scared I'm going to clog my shower drain with all the hairspray that is going to wash out.
My fears of being the only one decked out were soon forgotten with my big and my twin {see photo top left}. And the rain was no longer a problem!
