Break Week

Even though I just turned 20, sometimes I'm 6. {I had to think about how old I was- I put 18 on the first try}. Why am I telling you this? Because I promised pictures from spring break and well, once you see a few you'll understand. So let's just do a little recap.

Saturday

Adam arrived pretty late Friday night. {First the maintenece man and then a terrifying-I-think-someone-is-going-to-come--out-of-the-woods-and-I'll-never-be-seen-again detour set him back a few hours, but he made it.} Which all meant that we slept in on Saturday. When I finally became to impatient to let him sleep any longer I drug him out of bed for his first tour of campus. Well we never actually took any pictures "on campus" but this is one street over. Please ignore my sans makeup look. I was just to excited to go and didn't really care. At all. One bit. So after our little tour we walked back up Main to one of my favorite sandwich shops and we got Which Wich. I think Adam was impressed. He was starting to fall asleep in his food by this point. But I wasn't. So off to 5 Points we went! For those of you that don't know, 5 Points is our bar district (and no that's not where we were going). There is a cool record shop that sells pretty much anything imaginable called Papa Jazz and while I don't know much of anything about music, Adam does. We popped in a few other places where he picked up some early xmas gifts and then headed back for a nap. The poor baby was all wore out. Dinner rolled around and we aimed to hit up Taco Sushi, but didn't want to wait so Mellow Mushroom became the dinner of choice. {If you're really dying to know about any of this I can put something up in ADVENTURES}.

Sunday

First we hit up breakfast at Harpers, well an early lunch really. We aren't early risers as you'll probably figure out pretty quick. We enjoyed some amazing pimento mac and cheese and a ceaser salad. Pimento cheese is kind of a southern thing which meant that Adam had to try it.

Main event #2 for the day was the circus! Yep, we're six. The whole thing was pretty cheap for seats in the back and it was great. We loved every minute of the whole thing. I'd put up pictures, but they didn't take well, except for the ones of Adam and I goofing around during intermission. Here are a few. Remember 20=6 in age.

There are a lot more up on facebook so you can creep there if you're feeling in the mood. Later we went to Pawley's with my big and my twin and two of our guy friends and ate huge burgers and then hung out with them for the rest of the night.

Monday

THE ZOO! Well first I had to treat Adam to Zaxby's just to prove that is the exact same/slightly better version of Cane's in OSU. Then we went to the zoo because that is what I requested we do on my birthday. He asked if I wanted to go shopping instead. Silly boy. I'd never been to the Columbia Zoo so it was something new for both of us which was a lot of fun. He constantly surprises me with how much he knows about the animals {courtesy of growing up with a father who is the animal control officer}. And of course every time he got excited I did too. We then went to a nice dinner at Calfornia Dreaming during which I ordered milk and got laughed at by the waiter.

Adam left on Tuesday which as you can guess meant I sat around and moped all day. And did homework.

I'll keep the rest of this short.

Wednesday and Thursday I spent in Charleston with my twin and her roommates, both of whom lived on the same floor as I last year. I think I must have lost 5 lbs. from the amount of laughing we all did because my sides were killing me by the time I made it home. Friday I dyed my hair and went to an eye appoint. Despite toying with the idea of cutting all of the long locks off, they just darkened a few shades or twenty and stayed long.

Saturday was St. Patricks Day! Which meant a festival down in 5 points.

And Sunday was of course recouperation day and study because well school starts on Monday.

Hope this better explains the rest of the pictures I'm about to bombard facebook with.
